About the Event

Andrea Canny and Friends will put on a Cabaret to raise funds to renovate the Erin Cabaret Ballroom, a great new facility for cabaret!

Cocktails – cash bar in the Cabaret Ballroom. In addition, Irish Heritage Center Members will get a $5 drink ticket at check in upon showing your membership card.

Andrea Canny

Andrea Canny, a Cincinnati native, has been traveling the world onstage and on TV for the past 34 years. She was the Orlando Sentinel’s Critics Pick 2018 for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Mama Rose in Gypsy & recorded the role of Sleeping Beauty on the 10-year Anniversary CD of Disenchanted, the musical, released Sept. 2019. Ms. Canny was the original Belle in Beauty & the Beast at Walt Disney’s MGM Studios. Andrea is an award-winning producer/director & Orlando’s premiere cabaret entertainer.

Matthew Dentino

Matt has been on stage since his debut at age 6 with “The Dancing Dentino’s”, and in the decades that have followed he has traveled around the world with the USO, performing for our troops in over a dozen countries. Closer to home his performance credits include professional as well as community theatres around the country, industrial shows and theme parks from Paramount to The Grand Ole Opry and Opryland as well as TV. He has sung lead roles in everything from Operettas to Gospel Quartets and played dramatic and comedic roles alike. Some of his favorites have been; Alfredo in “La Traviata”, Frederic in “The Pirates of Penzance”, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Mike Connor in “The Philadelphia Story”, Don Lockwood in “Singin’ in the Rain”, Dr. Armstrong in “And Then There Where None”, Arthur Kipps in “The Women in Black”, Featured Singer/Dancer in “Swing!”, George in “Sunday in the Park with George” another George – George M Cohan, Dual roles of Pap Finn and The Duke in “Big River”, he danced his way across the ceiling as Bert in Mary Poppins and one of his favorite roles was that of Will Rogers.

Elaine Eckstein Wilson

Elaine Eckstein Wilson is a native of Cincinnati with extensive experience in the performing arts and education. She has danced with the Cincinnati Ballet, the Radio City Music Hall Corps de Ballet, toured for Walt Disney Productions and performed and choreographed for theaters across the mid-west. She is a veteran of over a dozen shows at La Comedia including Fiddler on the Roof, The Addams Family, Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, Annie, Sleeping Beauty and The Wizard of Oz. For five seasons, she worked at the Landmark Children’s Theatre in Centerville, Ohio as a performer/instructor/choreographer teaching and appearing in such roles as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe in Babes in Toyland and Miss Amelia in The Little Princess, among others. She taught dance and drama at the School for Creative and Performing Arts for 25 years and currently teaches dance and musical theater in the Preparatory Department at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. She is a graduate of the Dance Division of the College-Conservatory of Music with a master of fine arts degree in dance and holds state of Ohio teaching certificates in dance and special education.

Adventures in Cabaret Tickets

PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

Print out and save confirmation as your ticket.

The Cabaret tables seat 3 or four patrons. If you put in an order for 3 or 4 table seats, your party will all be seated together at one table. If your party has 5, 6, 7, or 8 patrons, your party will be split into two adjacent tables. If you buy two table seats, you MAY end up with another couple if a sufficient number of tables seats are not available, but remember, ALL fans of Cabaret are worth meeting and knowing.
